records that even if they came out you know January 2nd. I'm eager to hear him again

So I'm gonna start us us off, Jim. My number 10 album on my list, going back to front, so to speak.

Don Rashard, an artist we've talked about several times on this show.

You know, I think she's had one of the great under radar careers of the last decade,

not nearly given enough props.

You know, if people remember her, you know, kind of a more of a general framework, you know,

Dannity Kane, you know, the Sean V.

Diddy Combs connection.

Yes, yes, indeed.

She is, you know, taking that experience and built it into her own career.

And settling now surprisingly with Merge Records, the vaunted independent label, which it's, you you know when you think about it it's a perfect home for her because she's made

Music that colors outside the boundary lines for a number of years never never stayed in her lane exactly so second line is an homage to her hometown of New Orleans

it's an homage to her mother her previous album sort of honored her father her mother is a part of album. She's got a speaking part in it.

She's kind of the thread between the songs.

Exactly. And she's also reinventing electronic music in her own image.

She's combining her New Orleans influences, you wouldn't know things like Chicago, footwork
