Bert Allen Mann, who went by Allen, was found brutally bludgeoned and stabbed to death in his Austin, TX home in 1994. There were a limited number of viable suspects, ranging from known burglars to jealous love triangle participants. Despite ample suspect blood found at the scene, the case went cold. Austin PD's cold case unit finally turned to IGG to learn the name of the person who had killed Allen in a bloodbath in his foyer, and they were surprised to learn he was not in the case file. And, he slipped through their fingers before they could ensure justice for Allen.

0:57.0	The It was 1994. On Thursday, May 12th, Dawn Mann got home from work at 5.12 p.m. She opened the front door of her home and walked into a murder scene. Her beloved husband, Bert Allen, Mann, who went by Alan, was dead on the floor between small kitchen and foyer. Blood was everywhere. The couple's basset-hound Wally was cowering in the bedroom.
1:46.1	The cat was nowhere to be seen.
1:48.9	Dawn called the Austin, Texas Police Department.
1:51.5	Officer Jay Brushrow and cadet William Thrasher responded to 2510 Stargrass Circle and found the front door standing open.
1:58.7	They announced their presence and immediately saw Dawn standing over a man's body on the foyer floor, holding the dog on the leash. She was crying,
2:05.9	seemed on the verge of hysteria, and yelled, my husband's dead, what am I going to do? The man on the
2:11.6	floor was clearly deceased. His bottom half lay in the foyer, top half in the kitchen. His arms
2:17.0	were bent so his hands were curled close to him. He was surrounded by a pool of blood that had puddled into the kitchen. His head was all bloody and bore signs of bludgeoning. A large butcher-style knife was buried in his upper back up to the hilt. His right foot was shod, but his black dress shoe was off his left foot. A pair of eyeglasses lay on the floor.
