Brown's are back at the cross-country

campus on Wednesday and will begin prep for the Pittsburgh Steelers

this weekend.

I'm Jake Melinsic and welcome back to from the podium. It's a

pretty big show today. We're going to hear from general manager and executive vice

president Andrew Berry, three players and then head coach Kevin Stophanski.

Andrew Barry let us off. He spoke to the media and he addressed the Deshaun Watson injury and

if the team has any plans to change up this quarterback room.

Okay, as you guys read in the statement that we

issued this morning, you know, Deshaun,

he sustained a new injury in the second quarter of the Baltimore game this past Sunday.

A fracture in his throwing shoulder that's going to require season-ending surgery.

The good news is, you know, we expect the surgery to go well and for him to be ready for the start of the, you know, the 2024 season.

You know, obviously we are, you know, very disappointed and devastated for

de Sean especially given all that he has battled and gone through you know medically

you know the season and especially in light of you know how well he's played since his most recent

most recent injury.

You know, one of the things that I think about though with last Sunday is it was just such like an incredible

testament to his physical and mental toughness.

You know he was already playing with a high ankle sprain.
