Senator Bernie Sanders is a towering figure in US politics. And you must have followed him around. And I followed him all over

the place in my previous life, stalked him in various school halls and gymnasiums and whatever else

when Bernie Sanders was on the road because he became a

phenomenon. And it's easy to forget now, right, how kind of obscure a figure he was in the sort

like mid-20-10, you know, he was this independent senator, not even officially a Democrat,

but who decided, you know, when everyone was saying, this was Hillary Clinton's race,

that she was never going to lose,

she had it sewn up, and yet gave her in 2016 an unbelievable run for her money.

And what makes him so fascinating today is that Joe Biden absolutely brought him into the fold

when he became president. I mean, you know, the old phrase of

Lyndon B. Johnson about you'd rather have him inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent
