When we were just joined by Nikki Kelly from Indiana Capital Chronicle, she mentioned something about data centers.

And if data centers are driving up our power bills, that clearly needs fixing.

But, but this is the big but shutting everything down also seems like overkill. And now you've got AOC along with Bernie Sanders,

and they just introduced a bill targeting AI data centers. And the main idea is to pause or put a

moratorium on building any new AI data centers across the country.

Why do they want to do this?

Well, because data centers use huge amounts of electricity.

And they're rising everyone's electricity bills.

It's got a huge environmental impact as well.

And also they're mentioning AI's broader effects

on jobs and society.

So AOC was recently asked about this and she gave her thoughts on AI.

So, you know, I don't think those efforts are working on behalf of the administration.

As far as AI, I do not regularly integrate it into my daily life, but I know many people do. I think

our job tends to be a little bit more. For me, my job, a lot of my job is quite writing-based,

and I like to do my own. So she says that she's old-fashioned and many lawmakers who don't use AI.

Aren't they unqualified to talk about AI then?

I mean, she's just saying, I don't use it in my daily life, but yet she's introducing

bills that affect it.

It's almost like she's virtue signaling.

Wouldn't that be something, huh?
