Well, I really just want to thank you for being here with us today. You're going to share your story and help a lot of people feel less alone. And I know that's why you're here. You want to empower people to make changes make changes create movement so a really big thank you for being here with us today and now without further ado benjy the floor

So I'll begin by stating that I am currently 16 months removed and no contact from my ex-wife.

So a little background on myself and how I grew up, my childhood.

I was raised in the Northeast.

My parents had two children, myself and a sister who's two years older.

Both of us were adopted through Catholic charities.

My parents could not have children. I don't

know why, but personally, I was adopted at six months old. I always knew I was adopted. I never felt

thought about it. And we grew up in a middle to lower class, root-collar family in a neighborhood

just outside of major northeast city,

the suburb.

And although we didn't have much, I had a wonderful child.

I was raised very Catholic, very religious, went to Catholic school until high school.

The school that I was part of actually closed down, I think, due to financial issues.

But yeah, it was, you know, very, very happy childhood.
