In a move that we can't really explain the Cincinnati Bengals have moved on from Backup Center, Matt Lee, and that means that's a bigger need than it was yesterday.

And that is what we think the Bengals could do that could surprise many people who are following this team and projecting the Bengals draft path.

But we're going to start today with the Bengals release of Matt Lee.

And this happened before we talked to Mike Renner for the most recent show we did.

And so we haven't had a chance to talk about it.

when we, when we sent out the text, we're like, why? Why now? What's the possible explanation?

Are they opening a roster spot? No, that doesn't really make sense. They have 90 roster spots

in the offseason. It's not like they need that money for anything. He was a late round pick. Really hard to understand why this move would come now. Outside of that, and we told the

insiders this a couple of days ago, like, the Bengals coaching staff has never seemed to buy into Matt Lee,

but even then, why are we making this move now before the offseason program

and not bringing him into training camp to let him compete? It's really hard to make sense of it, James.
