So Chris, what are some other reasons or benefits that you can get out of a perennial plant?

So with perennials, as we talked about before, like they're here for longer than one or

two seasons, like depending on what kind of plant you choose for your climate,

they could be here to stay for many, many years.

So being able to watch a plant develop and grow through the seasons, go through different

cycles and really mature.

I mean, as a gardener, that's really cool to witness because I'm obsessed with watching

plants grow.

And I learn a lot by just watching plants grow and also just watching pests and diseases interact

with the plants.

That's just the reality of it as well.

Sometimes if you grow an annual crop, like you'll see it do its thing.

Maybe tomatoes get hit with blight and it's like, okay, that's it.

And a story, I'm not going to plant my tomatoes there next year.
