Summary

On Monday, June 24th, 2019, 33-year-old Kaylynn Blue failed to show up for her shift at a Walgreens in Idaho Falls, raising concern among her coworkers. Kaylynn had already missed two days—which was highly unusual for her. Worried, they reached out to her family, who soon involved the authorities. By 9 a.m., police arrived at Kaylynn’s residence to conduct a welfare check. There, they encountered her boyfriend, Philip Schwab, also 33. What they discovered was chilling: Philip was not only responsible for Kaylynn’s death, but had left behind a disturbing trail of online confessions detailing his crimes.

Hey everyone, it's me. I wanted to take a moment to address something important regarding

0:06.8

the Better Help Ad that aired on September 15th. In that spot I shared my personal experience using the service after months of having them as a sponsor for the show.

0:17.0

It felt like the right moment to give them an honest try, especially after finding myself in a place where I really needed support.

0:25.4

Unfortunately, things didn't go well, and I was very open about that experience with all of

0:30.2

you because, frankly, I believe in being real with this community.

0:34.8

Before that ad ran I had already decided to end our partnership with better help.

0:39.3

In fact that particular spot was not paid.

0:42.8

It was me using that space and my platform to speak openly about the concerns some of you

0:48.1

had quietly raised with me over the past several months.

0:51.6

Now, I know that some of you have also had similar experiences so I

0:55.8

felt it was important to validate those feelings after having a negative

0:59.7

experience of my own. Now since the aired, I've been respectfully asked to take it down, but as a matter of principle,

1:08.1

I've chosen to keep it up for now because I want every one of our regular listeners to have the chance to hear my thoughts

1:14.9

and experience firsthand.

1:17.2

However, all of the previous Better Help ads, including that one, will soon be removed

1:22.1

from our back catalog as our formal relationship

1:25.3

with the company has officially ended per my request. I also want you to know

1:30.0

that our special URL is no longer active. I want to also express a personal thank you to

1:35.7

our ad sales agency, Rhapsody Voices, who has stuck by our side and supported me through

1:41.0

this entire experience.

1:43.2

The reality behind the scenes is that Invisible Choir is a completely independent production,

1:48.6

and I employ seven writer producers and an audio engineer to pull off this show.
