Ben Delecrem competed on season six of Rupal's Drag Race and the third season of Rupal's Drag Race All-Stars.

Now, when in drag, she is the terminally delightful Ben De La Crem, who usually goes by Dela.

And without the wig and the makeup, it's Ben.

My interview was with Ben.

I know people hate this. So you can say no if you don't want to, but I feel like whenever I have people on who are singers and I'm like, sing a little bit, they're like, no.

But since I can't afford to play anything from Rupal's Drag Race. We can't get it. Could you give a little bit of Fendalikrem for people who aren't familiar with the character?

Oh, sure. Man, it's sometimes hard to step into it when I'm not actually dressed. But absolutely, I can speak as her for a little while. Well, let's see. I am just generally sort of excited to be here.

And, you know, I value a sense of effervescence and making sure that all of those around me are having very good time, whether they want to or not.

In my mind, it's so disgusting that I can't really remember loving it, but I must have.

And Ben is a Seattleite now, but he is from Connecticut.

And he says he misses the Chinese food of the northeast.

It's like the really lowbrow, super Americanized, like little takeout only shop on the corner that always has the best low man.
