I'm sitting across from a man who's had a number of careers.

He was a, you manage a political campaign, he was a stand-up comedian.

He was a waiter, for God's sakes, when he's got his first movie, Boiler Room, sold and made in 2000.

He's sitting across me now because he just did a great film. First of all, Ben Younger, thanks once you're being here. And your new film is Bleed for this.

Thank you for having me. I've been wanting to come on this show for 16 years now. Well, you know what? You make some movies? It's as simple as that.

And the thing I love about your movies is at some point people sitting around the table negotiating. That is the through line. You know, before I got there, I was like, he's going to

figure some way to connect the dots. And I tried to figure it out. I don't see the connection.

But there are people negotiating in all three. Yeah. Like sitting around a table that's kind of happening, and at some point it feels like it's a family dinner.

It doesn't matter if it's a family dinner as in the case of bleed for this or not as in boiler room,

board and prime.

They're all people at tables, and I wonder what your dinner table is like as a kid.
