Ben Standing is with us today because yesterday was a holiday and we were off.

He is going to be with us every Monday and Friday during the season at 12 noon and maybe some days in between.

So we are finally here the week before the season opener and the team is working out a veteran wide receiver.

Tell everybody who it is and whether or not there's, you know, what the chances are they end up signing this player to the roster.

Yeah, Kendrick Bourne. He has been around the league for a minute. He entered the league as an

undrafted free agent in 2017 with the 49ers when a young Adam Peters was just arriving in San

Francisco as part of their front office. So he was there for four years born. So Peter certainly knows him. And, you know, one thing that's been consistent with a lot of their move is we always made fun of the Ron Rivera deal with this, all, everybody he ever met in Carolina coming here. Right. It's not too dissimilar, except it's not just one guy. It's Peter's, it's Quinn, it's Kingsbury, it's everybody, and this one would be on the Peter's side.

So we'll see.

Born is 30.

He missed most of training camp of New England because of some injuries, but it sounds like from reports up there that he was, you know, rounding back in a shape and potentially could be ready

for week one, maybe not if he comes to a new team. But that's what it sounds like he was

kept initially on their 53, but then cut when they had, because they had like eight receivers

and I guess they needed a spot. So he flew to San Francisco yesterday. Now he is here. If you

make that cross-country trip, I'm assuming

assumption, that this is where he wants to be, but until we'll announce anything, we'll see.

He tore his ACL in 2023. Has there been a more recent injury?

I just think it's, you know, where I I'm not actually sure what to what degree of the

issue with those wear and tear stuff. I don't think it was anything like serious.
