I just saw this about Sean Payton.

Sean Payton has coached 22 games in his coaching career without his starting quarterback.

He's 14 and 8 in those games.

And if you remove the five games with third or fourth string

quarterbacks at the helm, he's 13 and 4. Over that same span, he's 87 and 48 with starting

quarterbacks. He's actually better at 13 and 4 win percentage-wise at 765 with backup

quarterbacks than he is with starting

quarterbacks over the last decade.

I think that they're going to surprise on Sunday with Jared Stidham.

I want to get your thoughts on these two games.

AFC championship game, do you give

the Broncos a shot? Yeah, I do. You know, if, look, Stim has not played in two years in an actual

game. So, you know, any sense of what he is is going to, you know, from a couple years ago.

But to me, he would have been one of those guys where, you know, maybe Marriota is sort of in

the front of the class in terms of that spot starter, you know, decent backup tier.

I think Stidams in that, though, at least before, like he, if he would have told me,

like, he would have been the guy to potentially start if, you know, Bo Nix wasn't just, you know, wasn't ready. I've been like, okay, you know, again, it's not ideal, but it's a puncher's chance and maybe a little bit more. again we haven't seen him in a couple years but you know Sean Payton is one of those coaches where

I think you know he can be

what was the old thing? I forget which a college coach. It was like, somebody would describe it as he can beat you with his and he can beat you with yours. Yeah, Bobby Bowles. Okay. Yeah, yeah. And so, like, I feel like, John Payton is one of those guys. So, yeah, I definitely give New England a good chance. I mean, Denver a good chance. Ironically, I feel like John Peyton, one of those, one of those guys. So, yeah, I definitely give New England a good chance.
