Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode here at the damage report. We've got a big old

show for you. We're about to get into a ton of different topics. Much of it having a sort of

legal bet. And so we thought you know what we should do. We should get next, but actually.

And so that's what we did. And so we're very lucky to be joined on the show. I believe it's the

first time as a co-host. Charles Coleman Jr. joins us right now. Charles, how's it going?

Hey John, how you doing? Thanks for having me. Yes, this is my first time as a co-host super excited.

Looking forward to today's show and glad to be the expert that you guys found.

Awesome. So we have spoken previously on the show and I know people probably are familiar with you

as well from the young Turks, but people who might not know you. Tell us a little bit about your

background and your experience. So I am by trade an attorney. I was a prosecutor in Brooklyn,

New York for several years where I worked in the Gaines unit investigations. A number of different

trials for the city's most dangerous criminals where after that I transitioned to the civil arena.

And I currently function as a civil rights attorney. That is my space. I do obviously a lot of

legal commentary on out less like the young Turks. I also do a fair amount of diversity

inclusion and race equity work for different businesses along with human resource solutions.

So taking the conversation about disrupting systemic inequity on all sides and moving

out forward in different arenas, that's my specialty. Awesome. Well, I think we've got a good run

down for you considering your specialty. We got a few different things. I am really excited to

to learn from you on. And so we're going to launch into that in just a minute. Before we do that,
