Summary

In August of 2010, a 30-year-old scuba enthusiast from Memphis, Tennessee headed out for a cave dive in Ponce De Leon, Florida, and never returned. 2:54.3	Benjamin Wayne McDaniel, better known as Ben, was born on April 18, 1980 to parents Shelby and Paddy McDaniel.
3:03.3	He was the oldest of three brothers, later joined by Brad, Tim and Paul in Collierville, Tennessee.
3:10.3	About a 30 minute drive southeast of Memphis, Collierville sits just across the border from the state of Mississippi.
3:17.3	Ben had always loved the water, and he and his family used to vacation regularly in Florida with his father Shelby, even catching a prize-winning fish off the coast of Florida and being written up for it in a newspaper.
3:31.3	Despite not living by the sea, Ben loved to swim and was passionate about reef's coral and under water life as a whole.
3:41.3	At 14, he learned to scuba dive while on vacation, and it quickly became his favorite hobby.
