It is that.

We have reached that Monday in the NFL when teams are going to decide it is time to start launching coaches and general managers and wading their way into that big soup of hirings and

firings.

And let's just sit here for a moment and be thankful.

Before we get into all of the everything, just be thankful the bears aren't doing that today.

That this is a whacking day in the NFL that does not involve your Chicago Bears.

That they have, for the most part, as far as we know at the moment, they have who they want in most of their positions.

And if, in fact, there are positions to fill it will be

because other teams are coming through and interviewing them and poaching them or whatever may

happen it doesn't always work out this way but the bears are uninvolved in an NFL whacking day

so that's a good thing.

That means, regardless of what is happening around them,

that things for now are okay enough.

As it stands, that is not the case for the Falcons or the Browns or the Titans

and maybe other teams in the next 50 to 65 minutes that we usually

do this program as some information rolls in.

I know in the podcast world, we're not in the breaking news business, but the timing is such

that it may indeed happen as we go here.
