Which means that this week, with the passing and tragic death of Kobe Ben's actually been like an eyewitness

reporter and Ben I've seen all the pictures

You know I think we've talked we've heard all of the Kobe talk. I'm not sure that the pictures are giving a clear magnitude of what Los Angeles is like that you know I thought there was an

interesting comment from Jerry West on that brilliant TNT show that you know this

this city is in pain what it what is it like in Los Angeles right now? That's the best way to put it. The whole

city is absolutely in pain. It's been an extended period of grieving. I would say basically in the three or four days since his death

Everyone's been in shock and just trying to cope with it

The city's been one giant funeral and everywhere you go it's Kobe tributeributes if you go to the airport they have

the lights are in purple and gold you go to the barber shop everyone's talking

about Kobe their favorite memorabilia their favorite posters if you go downtown to Staples Center,

obviously people call that the house that Kobe built. It's the biggest memorial

I've ever seen and it's probably the biggest memorial, you know, I will ever see.

I mean, you're talking about 40 or 50 feet long five feet deep in some

places of flowers bouquets candles jerseys tribute art I mean the list goes on they set a basketball hoop so that people
