each and every week exciting guests this week Ben Gibbard the lead singer for

death cab for cutie one of my bands. So cool to sit down with him. We were actually in

Denver for Vela Rama, which was sort of the overarching festival down in the front range for the Colorado

Classic.

So Vela Rama being the race and the music festival. One night Wilco headline the next night

death cab headline. So I reached out the band and asked him if he'd be willing to

sit down and chat about a lot of things we share in common.

Loves to run, loves to suffer, loves to be outdoors,

and also knows what it's like to stumble a bit, pick himself back up, and keep moving forward.

So thank you to Ben for coming on and opening up about so many things that I think you will all find

Before we get to that, I just want to say a couple things.

I just landed, actually here in Austin, Texas, it's 101 degrees.

I mean, and by the way, for those of you who, you know,

live in Arizona and say, oh, it's 100, that's, you know, that's not bad.

This is 101 with high humidity.

It is sweltering.

I've been here for one hour and I'm about to turn around. I know nobody feels sorry for me.
