There were four bins, and each of us had a bin, and every time we left the house and went to the boat, whatever you fit in the bin was what you had. If the kids wanted to bring a bunch of stuffed animals, well, then they didn't get to bring as many books, or they didn't get as many clothes or whatever. It was like, the bin was your space. So every one set of clothes and the rest stuffed animals and books. Pretty much, yeah.

I am recording this in Pam Wall's living room in Fort Lauderdale, overlooking the canal where her beautiful Freya 39 is usually parked, although it's not here right now. It's down in

Miami. Nonetheless, I am here on a very

short visit. I came down to C-PAM and to get my captain's license medical ENG-1 renewed.

And I'm just reminded how cool it is down here. It's very nostalgic for me being here and also

very nostalgic sitting in this living room because back in 2016,

I think it was, in this very living room in Pam's house, we came up with the name on the wind

for this podcast. Prior to that, it was just called the 59 North Sailing podcast and with Pam's help

and Liz was here and Mia and Terry who did the video we did with Pam, we came up with

On the Wind. So it's very cool to be back here. There is more stuff from Pam coming, actually.

I did a really, a very deep, actually, an emotional interview with Pam today at the table

this afternoon. That's going to come out on next season of On the Wind. And we're also going to have some more stuff coming from Pam, which I'll talk about in another episode, but I'm very excited because it's going to, it's a lot of sea stories that Pam has that we're going to figure out how to capture. So very excited for that. I'll tell you more about that later. What else is going on? We've got the seamanship workshop coming up in Annapolis in the fall.

That's the big thing we're pushing this summer.
