Oh, this is Kate Chastain. Hey guys. From below deck. I was so happy to be here. I know

that it was probably at least two years ago. I wanted to come on your podcast and it just

we never lined up. And then I would like message you on Twitter and why would I slide into

a Twitter DM? I mean, nobody checks their Twitter DMs ever. I haven't been on Twitter

in 100 years. So I don't blame you for not responding to me. Yeah, but I was always, I

knew that you had hand on. And I was slightly bummed out that Hannah got to go before I

did. Yeah. Well, here you are. I know. I know. Save the best for last. The questions are

rolling in. So we kind of just have to jump right in. I really feel like I'm ready. But for

anyone who doesn't watch below deck, it's on Bravo. It's about yawning and richness for the guests.

For the guests. Yep. And you're the chiefs too, which like, I want to know about ranking.

Like, what the heck is the rank in real jobs? I would never be like, so rank obsessed.

But and it took me a while when I started working on yachts in real life. Yeah.

To understand why rank was important. I was kind of like, I thought anybody that had higher rank

and like, used it was such a jerk. I was like, well, I'll just, you know, living and working

together. But it's why the military has ranked. It's similar for yawning because we're out into

ocean. It's for safety. It's for order. And once that clicked in my head, um, why organization in

general is so important. It really helped me in my real life. But so the boat has to be organized.
