We are coming off what seemed like a pretty sleepy kind of low number of races at primary

night going into a midterm election.

There were just contests in a few states, Florida, New York, you know, few others.

But it actually ended up having some pretty interesting results, not necessarily results

that will have a immediate impact necessarily on, you know, who's in office.

But for the thing that a lot of people are very focused on right now, which is trying

to get some understanding of what is happening going into the midterm elections.

If you're, you know, if you're a political obsessive, that's always going to be something

you're focused on.

But in this cycle, it is particularly the case because everything is kind of upended.

Usually we have a standard set of metrics that we follow to say, okay, you know, this

party is going to have a good election, that party is going to have a good election.

But they're really kind of all pointing in weird directions.
