Our card this week is Belinda Van Lith, the Queen of Hearts from Minnesota.

Belinda Story has held a special place in my heart for a very long time.

Over a year, in fact, because in August of 2022,

her family reached out to our team here at Audio Chuck

requesting that we cover her case, because it had never really been told in full before.

Now we told Belinda's family that we would try and for months we did try.

We reached out to the investigating agency on multiple occasions

asking them to partner with us for this episode, but crickets and we've still

never heard back about an interview.

But thankfully, through a records request,

we were eventually able to obtain hundreds and hundreds of pages of reports

spanning the nearly 50 years since Bolinda's disappearance.

And when we started digging into these records, let me tell you,

our team had so many jaw-drop moments, but the overwhelming sense I felt was heartache,

because this girl deserved so much better, and she deserves justice.

Hopefully, maybe, by bringing and she deserves justice.

we can accomplish just that.
