We believed it could happen, but we didn't know it was ours.

We didn't know it was part of our salvation, and so we would ask passively and wait to see if God would heal.

And if a person got well, then we would say,

well, this must have been God's will.

But if they died, we said, well, that must have been God's will.

That is not true.

That's the same thing as a person saying,

oh God, help me not to sin.

But if you go ahead and sin, well, it must have been God's will.

No, it wasn't God's will. You have been set free from sickness as much as you have been set free from sin.

Does that mean that therefore you know nobody should ever be sick? Well we

shouldn't but that's the same thing as we shouldn't sin but yet Christian sin

There are Christians who are sick, but it's not because God

Wills it. It's not because God hasn't provided healing. It's the same reason that we

sin. The Lord has given us the ability not to ever sin. He's given us a Holy Spirit. He gave us commands not to sin and yet we do sin not because God wills it.

You know if you somehow or another could think well you know God must want me to send to teach me something.

And I guarantee you, man, you'd be out sending all of the time.
