knowing that on one level maybe I could do the thing. So the people that are

0:09.0

struggling with this they have that too so you being able to support them in believing themselves and in listening to their body and maybe helping them track, because tracking is a big part of it.

0:20.0

But that would be a way to be supportive of like really helping them come to accept.

One of the treatments that they used to recommend, I mean by used to I mean recently,

0:30.0

this is still a little bit controversial, like I said it was that graded exercise

0:34.3

that now they are not recommending for people even long COVID with post-exertional

malaise it can be counter indicated right to, to push yourself, meaning...

helping convince them that it was in their head, right? Helping them push past their own internal barriers,

1:16.4

1:25.2

understand it and get more in touch with their body and listen, that's different and that's

1:30.1

certainly welcome. When you hear people push back about CBT therapy

1:34.8

for this, it's the kind of therapy where basically

1:37.1

the therapist is really trying to convince you

1:38.6

that it's in your head.

1:40.2

It's terrible. Welcome to Therapist Uncensored.
