Please turn in your Bibles with me to Matthew chapter 21.

This evening we'll be returning to Matthew and I'm excited to report that we are coming

into the home stretch of this book.

If you're new or visiting, you don't know, but we've been in the book of Matthew for the

last 17 years.

So this is really a big moment for us.

We'll actually be working through and wrapping up Matthew of these next two months and then

after that we will jump back into some of our final practices as well as even wrap up

those.

The end of an era, if you will, as God leads us into new things.

That's pretty exciting time.

Would you stand with me for the reading of God's Word?

We'll pick up in verse 1 of Matthew chapter 21.

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Beth Page on the mount of olives, Jesus sent two

disciples saying to them, go to the village ahead of you and at once you will find a

donkey tied there with her cult by her.

And tie them and bring them to me.

If anyone says anything to you, say the Lord needs them and he will send them right

away.

This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet.

Say to Daughter Zion, see your king comes to you.

Until in writing on a donkey, on a cult, the foul of a donkey.
