Rich Samini posted, he quote posted a clip of an article, or clip of an interview, rather, with

Bill Belichick with the pardon my take guys from Barstool. And it said, Belichick on why he walked

away from the Jets. He doesn't talk about this that often. Quote, I had worked for Modell,

and the two trains coming down the track were Dolan and Woody Johnson.

I just felt like I don't feel comfortable with whichever one of those guys ends up with the team.

Nothing personal.

I just had a bad experience with Modell and I was either I'm going to work for a good owner or an owner that I felt comfortable with who would share a vision with or I'm not working for that. So opened up a little bit about that. We'll assume that that was the case and he trusted Bob Kraft more so and it ended up working out for him. But, you know, interesting that he had addressed it all these years later. Well, a couple things going on here with Bill Belichick.

Not only did he go on with the part of my take guys,

he also went on with Sean Hannity. Okay, I didn't see that. So there must be, I don't know if somebody in his life is telling him, you got to get out there, you got to go do these things, you've got to go talk about things that are interesting. And one of the things he was talking about is like going to work and his mantra of,

you know, when you show up to work, you go to work, no days off, that kind of thing. And people

misinterpreted this. And Bill went on to explain. What I was talking about is that when my players,

or essentially the team comes to work, I want them to go to work every single day that

they're in that building. Of course, they have days off, and they're not going to be working those days.

But when you come to work, don't waste that day. Make sure that day makes you a better player

for the upcoming game. And that's what he was talking about. So no days off meant that when you come to work, you are not taking a day off. You're not half-ass in it, essentially, which is what I can appreciate. And I bet you that's exactly what John Harbaugh's message is to the New York Giants. You know, you're in the league for 18 years, you're getting paid $20 million. You've won a Super Bowl. You've been in the playoffs. You've had some of the best players in the league. Guess what? You stand up in front of that team. You have a wealth of credibility that, you know, should be able to push the envelope with the players. Speaking of John Harbaugh, did you hear what Cam Scataboo said? Said he's going to be playing all 17 games this season.

Going to be 300 carries for over 2,000 yards.

I know you love those predictions from young players.

These kids just don't understand.

They have no idea.
