Thanks for having me. So what motivated you to write on this subject?

Why is it important to you? Yeah, this actually happened for me kind of in reverse so I was doing a podcast interview after my first book came out on bearing God's name and an interviewer asked me what's an idea that needs to die in

the church or in biblical scholarship. It was a great question and right away I knew what I

wanted to say and that was that we go to heaven when we die.

Like that we asked Jesus into our heart so that we can go to heaven when we die.

Like this way of kind of recapping the gospel message was anemic and needed to be set aside for a

more robust biblical vision of the new creation and human embodiment in that new creation.
