So White Sox fans, as the 2024 season gets closer, we know that this was not the original plan

for the White Sox for 2024, for you, for us, for them, for anybody.

This was supposed to be the tail end of the contending window.

At the very least, sustained success.

That's what we were expecting.

That's what we were planning for.

That's what we believed in.

It sure looked like it was headed that way.

But instead, the White Sox completely collapsed last season and the blueprintueprints of what was supposed to be a golden era of White Sox baseball.

Those blueprints were thrown out.

So were Kenny Williams and Rick Hahn fired last season and replaced with a brand new front office led by Chris Gets, who has his own plan, starting with bringing in a bunch of new players

with smaller contracts as the team is now, I don't know, rebuilding, rebooting, resetting,

retreating, whatever you want to call it. And while I do like some of the moves, Chris has made

this offseason, we know that your fandom has definitely been

tested and in some ways put through the ringer in the last year or two ever since they

won the division in 21. So on the podcast, Ryan McGuffie joins me for a heart-to-heart

conversation about what's happened to the White Sox, to your faith in the White Sox, and when your fandom is put to the test.

This happens to every team and every sport at some point.

Unfortunately, it's happening right now with the White Sox.
