with me somebody very special. His ambulance ride home video is one of our first Tik-Toc videos that we did. And this is a gentleman who was involved in a shooting along with two other police officers and I don't think anybody is unfamiliar of that incident and when it occurred.

The whole nation was watching it unfold and we're thankful that his recovery continues and he's here with us today.

Good evening guys and girls.

So you're you're at home doing your continuing your recovery at home, right?

Rob. That is correct. I'm doing therapy at home.

That's good.

It's a lot better than doing it in the center, right?

That is correct.

It is so much better.

It was hard.

I bet. Why don't you give us a little history about who you are and how you got into your law

enforcement career. Okay.

I worked in sales.

I was 27 years old.

I worked for a fire sprinkler company and I was really willing to be a cop.

I was married and I had a son and I said if I don't become a cop now if I don't even try I'm

gonna regret it. My wife basically said why don't you try it? So I started out in the jail and I've worked there for about a year and half as a local jail facility. It was almost like a high school reunion for me. I saw everybody

I went to school with in there, so it was weird, but I actually learned I was wanting to be a cop.
