Hi there.

Would you like to introduce yourself?

Hi, I'm Ryan. I'm a fashion theorist, a writer, a fashion content creator, and I talk about fashion on the internet as it relates to, like, digital history.

So how did you first get into fashion theory? I don't even know about fashion theory. That's such a good question because I don't really know when I started getting into the theoretical aspect of it, but it might have been Tumblr as much as I hate to

talk about Tumblr any more than I already do. All I do is talk about Tumblr, but I think it

probably came from Tumblr, people applying like gender theory and race theory to like any and

every human interaction ever created, like people being like, this TV show came on.

We have to talk for three hours about like where they put the coffee on the table because of race

relations. And I'm like, do we? I don't know. And it just made me realize like you can apply theory

to everything. And then yeah, I think that's how I got into the fact that fashion is like much deeper

than we see it as, as a person who had a really superficial relationship with fashion, I was like, oh, it's a bit deeper.

Wait, so did you never talk about, like, did you never get involved in discourse on Tumblr?

I was, like, too involved in discourse on Tumblr.

And it's so weird that I was never really involved in, like, enough fashion discourse.

I was involved in every other form of

discourse. Yeah, I was like a really big discourse girly on Tumblr. I'm not going to lie.
