Welcome to the Jesus Image podcast.

For those of you who don't know, we began a journey in the Lord Jesus' life.

We preceded the Nativity with the prophetic utterances from the Old Testament.

Through Christmas, we walked into the nativity of the Lord Jesus, and we camped out on the

incarnation for weeks, and that was beautiful.

What an awesome time.

From there, I taught on Epiphany or the baptism of the Lord Jesus.

What that all meant.

That was really fun to teach.

I've got to be honest with you. I get filled with the spirit as I'm teaching this stuff.

And we talked about the coming of the Spirit upon the Lord Jesus. What the baptism of the Lord Jesus fulfilled scripturally, how he identified with man completely. We know that baptism was a baptism of repentance,

and Jesus had no reason to repent. Therefore, it was a baptism of identification, right?

The entire Trinity is seen at the baptism of Jesus. The Father speaks, the Son is highlighted, and the Holy Spirit comes upon Him.

And that tells us something. The Trinity is revealed through the Lord Jesus Christ.

If I want to know what the Holy Spirit is like, look no further than Jesus.

If I want to know what the Father is like, look no further than Jesus.

So Hebrews 1 teaches us that Jesus is the express image of God, the very brightness of His

glory, and that does not apply to only the Father.

I actually talked to Dean Becker in the back because I've been preaching it and I wanted

to make sure that I was right.

I was pretty sure I was. But this is true. The Holy Spirit himself, his nature, is seen in the life of the Lord
