In the flat in Beijing, retired couple Jun Hong and Hong are showing me a film on their smartphone.

It shows four people dancing together, but it's no ordinary dance.

We're looking at the Ivana's mom and dad wearing the swan costumes in Swan Lake dancing the four little swans and part of the ballet.

Sorry, it's very funny actually.

They shot the film themselves and shared it with their friends on social media.

Just one of the ways this Beijing couple entertained themselves in what was a very strange year.

For many people across the world though,

this past year and a half has brought tragedy. In early 2020 the city of Wuhan

Beijing didn't experience the same very strict restrictions as Wuhan,

although we were encouraged to isolate in the early days to prevent the virus from spreading.
