We are in a series in the Psalms that's grounded in the assumption that the greatest need in our lives. It's quite a statement, the greatest need in our lives

Quite a statement the greatest need in our lives the greatest need in our families the greatest need in this church

the greatest need in our country for that matter, is to know God. To have a high view of God in all of His glory. Unfortunately, though we are constantly tempted in our lives,

in our families, in the church, and certainly in our country, to have a low view of God and specifically

to ignore or minimize characteristics of God that are not as comfortable to us.

Last week we talked about God's wrath.

This week talking about God's jealousy, not a characteristic of God that we talk a lot about,

and for good reason in a sense when most think of

jealousy we think of this the sin of selfish envy even anger that breeds

resentment within us destroys relationships around us.

So is it possible for jealousy to be good?
