And we are back on another edition of Behind the Uniform. This is when we take you inside, not only the playing careers of the guys who wear the uniforms for the University of Michigan, but we take you into their backgrounds as well. Who are they off the field of play? And on this edition of Behind the Uniform, we talked to one of the young men carrying the mail for the maize in blue.

And you saw him do it in a rousing way in the bowl game for the University of Michigan talking

about Mr. Jordan Marshall. Jordan, thank you for joining us, man. How you doing?

Good. Thank you for having me. Beautiful day. Nice to be here. Another day in Ann Arbor.

Man, it's a pleasure to have you.

Been anxiously anticipating having you on set since you are a recruit.

You know, this is one that we've been excited about.

An Ohio Kid, a player of the year.

Best player in Ohio, in my opinion, choosing to come north of the border.

There's a lot of pressure that comes with that.

And you chose to do it anyway, and that's where I want to start, is when you choose to spurn the Buckeyes to come to Michigan like you did.

That takes a lot of courage too, man.

Let's take me back to that process of that decision, of why you did it and what it was like after you did it.

You know, walking the halls, walking the town,

what your life was like around that time in your life?

During that time, it was, it was kind of, I had just people in my ear.

There's a lot of Ohio State fans from where I'm from, Cincinnati. But one thing my mom always told me is you have to do things for yourself sometimes.

And when I was looking for places, she was talking about the culture and the people,

and she wanted this to be a decision that I made and

throughout the process Michigan showed me all the things that were necessary and Ohio State didn't have

those things and I didn't love the people, the culture, Never grew up an Ohio State fan.

I actually grew up a Georgia fan.
