0:00.0 | Imagine sweeping through green fields, floating five feet above ground, sun on your face as you slide by on track to your destination, not a car in the world as you simply lean back. |
0:17.0 | And before you know it, you're there. |
0:20.0 | This is how travel should feel, and on our trains, it does. |
0:25.0 | Avanti West Coast. Feel good travel. |
0:56.0 | Hello, this is the Red Box Podcast. I'm Matt Shorty, the morning after the night before. Well, he survived. |
1:11.0 | Sort of. It's quite bad. 140 Tory MPs voting against Boris Johnson's vote of confidence. |
1:17.0 | How did the day actually unfold? And our big thing today, I spent the whole day in pun. |
1:22.0 | It's an old school, Red Box Podcast. It's spent the whole day in Parliament, chronicling what was happening, counting down to that result and bringing you reaction after. |

2:12.0 | No votes of confidence against you, Patrick. What should we possibly talk about? |
2:17.0 | Danny, your reaction to the result, 148 conservative MPs voting. They don't have confidence in the conservative prime minister. |
2:24.0 | Well, one or two people have said that this is the worst possible result for the conservative party. |
2:29.0 | And I don't agree with that, actually, because my view is the worst possible result would have been nobody voting no confidence in the prime minister. |
2:35.0 | The truth is that it shows at least 148 people get it, even if that's not enough. |
2:42.0 | Obviously, it's not the best result for the conservative party, which would have been for more than 180 conservative members to vote against or at least in my view. |
