Hello, there I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast and yes we are showing up in

your feet on a Friday.

Throughout the summer we're going to put our long form interviews here ahead of your

weekend.

So joining me now are longtime political consultant Stephanie Cutter and Emmy winning TV producer

Ricky Kirschner.

They joined up together in the midst of the pandemic to produce celebrating America the

first virtual political convention at the time and it was the Democratic National Convention

last August.

And then again for America United Joe Biden's inauguration which was just two weeks after

the Capitol insurrection.

Oh, and still in the midst of a pandemic and the end result which felt intimate, wholesome

in a time of crisis might have actually changed how America experiences large political events

forever.

So Stephanie and Ricky thanks for coming on and welcome and Stephanie let me start there.

I mean, you know, they always say the best innovation comes, you know, sometimes when

you're in a crisis and suddenly you had to start thinking about innovation.

So take me through the moment you were handed the keys to this convention and said okay,

they're not going to be any delegates.
