from Orthodoxy today, three guests. Two of them will talk about recent elections,

Richard Seymour on Britons and Trittipaparsi, and Iran's.

And then we'll hear an excerpt from a 2017 interview with Jane McAlibi, the organizer and writer

who died in July 7th.

On first clients, Britain's Labour party won a landslide victory in the parliamentary elections held in July 4th,

winning almost two-thirds of the seats in Parliament. But a closer look reveals some cracks,

like that huge majority came with just a third of the popular vote,

thanks to the structure of Britain's electoral system.

Herewith Morris Richard Seymour, a London-based writer and broadcaster, and a founding editor of

the Darkly title journal

seats.

All this was done without U.S. style gerrymandering.

What can we say about that disparity?

What does it mean for their mandate? What does it mean for the

electoral system? What do you think of that? Well it's crazy because certainly many of

Stormers defenders are anxious to say no no no this was he played the game as it laid this is an unfair system maybe but he

fought for votes in seats where it counted he wasn't too worried about piling up votes in

irrelevant heartland constituencies that he knows are going to vote labor anyway.

The mandate is proved by his ability to get those seats.
