What do you make of those comparisons?

These are two quite separate wars for completely different reasons.

There is no alliance between Russia and Hamas.

Russia has always wanted to be an ally of the United States and Israel against Sunni Islamist terrorism and extremism from which Russia itself has suffered terribly.
