Today, I'll be speaking to Nomi Ruiz.

Nomi's an amazing singer and actor.

You've probably heard her with Jessica Six, or Hercules and Love affair.

Or maybe you saw her in the TV show Pose, or in her new movie, Heymaker.

But most importantly, for us, Nomi was also a member of the Speed Angels, Miriam's Girlband.

So I'm sure she has some great insights and stories to tell.

I'll also be speaking to Sean Fey.

Sean is a journalist and fashion icon in London whose debut book The Transgender Issue

has turned her into a somewhat reluctant expert on the British culture wars surrounding trans lives.

And then for the final part of this episode, our producer, Elena Biggs,

will be speaking to reality TV critic Andy Denner, who's been following Miriam's story

as well as other mind-boggling reality TV moments for years.

He'll be able to share a bit of the wider context about the history and legacy of the shocking reality TV shows

that are still hitting our screens today.
