Hey everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin. And welcome to this week's episode where we're so excited to be interviewing Laurent Hoppin and Renault Roche, who are the author and illustrator behind the graphic novel Lucas Wars.

This was such a lovely conversation, and the graphic novel is truly incredible, truly.

We are so, so, so thrilled to have Laurent and Renault on Sky Talkers today.

I think when this graphic novel hit our Instagram feeds a year and a half ago,

the French version, we were like, this is made exactly for us and the Sky Talkers listener.

So we're so happy that it is coming out translated in English on September 16th. So thrilled for that. And we actually have a

copy. We were able to read it early. Very thankful for that. And it is honestly an amazing piece to

the George Lucas bookshelf at this point. But it is so beautiful and it really has so much

heart in it. So I can't wait for people to pick this up. I know that if you listen to Sky Talkers,

this is actually a must have, truly. So I don't know about you, Caitlin, but in Tokyo, when we

were there for a celebration, it took

everything in me to not purchase the Japanese version because that was out before the English

version. And I was like, no, we must wait. We must wait. We must wait. I can do it. And it's funny

because Caitlin and I both have some experience with French.

And so the original version was released in French.

And so I think it's so funny how we both, I did the mental gymnastics of, well, I could do it.

I could get the French one. And I think that, that makes

sense. And it's the original. So we should get that. I'm even convincing myself right now.

I know. I know. I was watching some of Laurent and Renard's interviews in France while we

were prepping for our interview.
