Welcome to True Crime Brewery. I'm Jill. And I'm Dick. So on the night of January 23, 2006,

Jennifer Kessie spoke to her boyfriend before she went to bed. She set out her clothes for work,

she went to sleep, and then she vanished. Now, Jennifer was just 24 years old, but she was very

independent, smart, and safety conscious. She would never just blow off work, and she would never

take off somewhere without an explanation to anyone.

And yet, the next morning, Jennifer was just gone. So join us for behind the fence, the vanishing of

Jennifer Kessie. This isn't just a mystery. This is Jennifer's story. Her car would be found later abandoned, about a mile from her home.

Her phone would never ring again, and the only image investigators have of her suspected

abductor is a blured figure walking away from a parking lot, with his face hidden behind fence posts.

And now, for over 20 years, Jennifer's family

has lived with these unanswered questions. There have been no arrests, no closure at all, and really

no idea what happened to the woman they love. Other than, it seems pretty clear she was abducted.

So some things did go wrong with the investigation.
