pre successive wins in the league, five wins from seven and when he did come in there was 12 points between spurs in 14 and Chelsea in 4th

managed to whittle that down to three points and had the beat in Chelsea Prior to Christmas.

They actually would have overtaken them in the league table and gone to the top far.
