After Liverpool looked much more like themselves on Wednesday night, making it back-to-back victories

in the Premier League, the Reds are now gearing up for the visit

Sean Deutches Burnley at Anfield this afternoon. A rare 3 p.m. kickoff on a

Saturday for Yewgen Globside. And to look ahead to the game I'm delighted to

have on the line with me Johnny Bentley, a sports

journalist, broadcaster, commentator, and Burnley supporter. Johnny, welcome to Blood Red.

Thanks, Matt. I'm blushing, actually, at that description. Yeah it's you know I mean it's a it's a roller

reverse line to view you last week you interview me this week looking forward to it.

Yeah very much so and I suppose we will better get started then and we can start with sort of, you know, the Liverpool title win your reflections on that. I mean you're a neutral-ish supporter of who I suppose doesn't have strong feelings either way on on livable suspect.

So yeah first of all I mean what what did you make of it?

Well yeah I think it was you know a remarkable achievement for

Liverpool something that's been a long time coming certainly for many of the

supporters yourself included. I feel like they were pushed to the

performances and to the standard that they have achieved this season as a result

of Manchester City's incredible rise on the Pequoideola.

I do feel that because Manchester City won the title two times in a row,

that perhaps their own enthusiasm, desire to achieve such a hyberometer for a third successive

season I feel like that was that was affected slightly because of the two title wins and I feel like that benefited

Liverpool however you know that sounds like I'm excusing the fact that you know
