On this podcast we bring in the experts, scientists, engineers, and

astronauts all to let you know what's going on in the world of human spaceflight and more.

I promised a lot of Artemis content in 2022, didn't I? If you haven't been tuning into our recent episodes,

we're talking about the Artemis program,

returning humans to the moon sustainably,

to do unique and interesting science,

and to prepare for the journey to Mars.

In the past few months, we've talked about the space launch system rocket.

We've talked about the Orion capsule, the one that's taking humans into deep space.

We've highlighted a few payloads or stuff,

experiments in particular that are going to be brought on the first mission

under the Artemis program, Artemis 1. And most recently,

we've talked about moon science.

On this episode we're going to be going inside mission control

and explore what changes had to be made to support human missions to the moon aboard the Orion capsule.

There is a difference with running a low-Earth orbit mission and running a deep space mission.

And that comes with challenges, like bandwidth and commanding software and working on a deep space network.
