Connecticut Ian Beggley from S&Y. We're gonna talk some Nick's basketball, some

actual basketball Ian, how are you?

Zach, what's going on my friend? That was Chris Maddog Russo like energy on that

intro. I enjoyed it. Chris Maddog Russo have one thing in common. One thing you

want to know what it is. Please. We both hate the New York Yankees. There's

only one sports team that I hate. There's only one sports team that I hate in my

blood, in my soul. Blame my dad, blame my parents. I cannot, I cannot abide. I

cannot abide by the New York Yankees. That's the only thing Chris Maddog Russo and I

have in common is phenomenally talented way more so than I. Ian Beggley, I have

one question to start off with with you. Yes. What the hell happened? I feel like

we've started off with that question and past Nick podcast, but with this one in

particular Zach G's, I mean they were there. I think they were close before the

Nick's agreed to that RJ Barrett extension. And I think even in the aftermath of

that, the Nick's expected to be able to get to the finish line. They expected to

get another crack at talking to Utah and figuring something out. But you know,

as has been explained, Cleveland and Kobe Altman jumped in there the day after

the Nick's and RJ Barrett agreed to that extension. They got a deal done. My

understanding is Cleveland reached out to Utah. It wasn't Utah kind of

seeking out anything beyond what the Nick's were talking about. And then Utah

never reached back out to the Nick's and I think the Nick's were surprised when

...
