I'm your host, Miko, joined once again by my co-host and writer over at Prideot of Detroit.com, Morgan Cannon. And this is, listen, we're bringing back the podcast a little bit earlier than we normally do. Normally, this is a podcast we have during the season where we talk about the lines upcoming opponents, we talk up and break down both the strengths and the weaknesses of both teams and try to game plan or at least talk about what we think the Lions need to do to get a win.

2:04.3

But at this point, Morgan, we're a couple weeks away from the draft, and I think we can kind of still do something similar with a mock draft by basically outlining what we think the Lions could do to kind of win the draft this year and have a much better roster going into the other parts of the offseason. Yep. I think it's like the perfect time to do one, you know, and I know y'all will never do one on the main podcast because of a boss man. He's a mock draft hater, isn't he? Listen, we, I like, I joked about it earlier this week. I was like, oh, Jeremy, we should do a mock draft Monday. And he was like, I'm going to be pre-gaming for the Michigan game. And I was like, first of all, anybody that knows Jeremy knows that he doesn't even pregame like that.

2:03.9

No. Jeremy, we should do a mock draft Monday. And he was like, I'm going to be pre-gaming for the Michigan game. And I was like, first of all, anybody that knows Jeremy knows that he doesn't even pre-game like that.

2:04.5

No.

2:14.7

But he will say and do anything to get out of doing a mock draft. So we're going to do it over here on Before the Roar. Probably do a couple of these before the actual draft takes place. but I think with this one, Morgan,

2:17.3

like we're going to do it a couple of different ways.

2:19.0

We're going to use the same mock draft simulator and all of them.

2:19.7

We're going to use PFO.

2:21.1

But I think with this one, Morgan, like, we're going to do it a couple of different ways. We're going to use the same mock draft simulator and all of them. We're going to use PFF. But I think the approach that we take over the next couple of weeks with these is going to be what's going to be key. I think the first one that we're going to start today, we're going to try to at least, listen, what we think the Lions should do? And I know that's going to probably rile some people up because what do we know about GMing a team and what do we know about trying to draft and select players that we ourselves haven't scouted thoroughly? But at the same time, like, we do cover this team pretty closely and we do have a really good pulse of what we think this team needs. And we're going at least try to to take that knowledge and apply it

2:51.7

in this mock draft yeah and i feel like you know we see the game a lot of like similarly in a lot of ways

2:57.6

but then we also you know have our differences like in certain things so i think it'll be a good
