everyone. We are now going to talk about the Lord of the Tides, part two. I loved it.

What did you love so much about it? I loved how it felt like it was from the future.

I know that time jumps were a thing that we were worried about going into the series,

but they've become something that we couldn't avoid. Instead of it being something that wasn't good,

they've turned it into something that is part of the flourish of why it's good. It felt like to

me that this would be, if you were adapting a bunch of books over the course of a season, which

are a lot of recent things like sci-fi and fantasy adaptations have done is mix in multiple books

over the courses of seasons, and depending on the budget of those shows, some of them are on

networks like HBO, some of them are on networks like Hulu or something, and they get less attention,

and they have to go a long amount of time in a short amount of time as far as a TV show is

concerned, but for us coming from the age of everything that was big was mainly only ever

adapted to be a film, and you're dealing with three hours instead of 10 hours, that five hours

for each book ended up being okay, ended up being fine good enough. Sometimes it was way better,

and that's one of the reasons why we were so all of us were so blown away by Game of Thrones,

because it was an adaptation that did that. For this to be able to cram as much time in a

TV show that's going to be under so much scrutiny for how well they execute whatever their idea

is, because it's following up Game of Thrones and the way that that all ended,

for it to be turned into something that is part of the reason why it's all good, which I think you

could say is personified by Viseric's character and how his character ends completely, but also just

used in making us like these characters way more than we should after all in these amount of episodes.
