Hello my fellow Westorians welcome back to history of Westrose Podcast. We got a big one today before

the Dragons. It's a topic that allows us to use a lot of imagination a lot of figuring out a lot of

triangulating it's not an explicitly covered topic in any of the source

material is something we just are able to guesstimate and like I said

triangulate. We know a lot of these characters that we're going to talk about were aware of

them in their later lives so we have some inkling of what type of person they were

which now allows us to discuss or guess or theorize what they were like when they were a little bit younger

and that's a lot of fun we've got a lot of regions to cover,

and we've got to cover the reactions and state of affairs between the normally do. So we'll see what transpires today

with all that, with all this large amount of information,

it's a little different kind of topic than we do

than we normally do.

There's not going to be pretty much any real world

comparisons today. I don't really have much for that. There may be some things

that come up, maybe some of y'all will realize things that are good real world

comparisons. After all, Westeros is a bit of a parallel to real world England,

Aegon the Conqueror to William the Conqueror,

which is probably some things there.

But we're not really focused on the conquest.

We're focused on the time period, five to 15 years before that.
