Beginning with the legend of the Leopard Men of West and Central Africa — figures believed to cross the boundary between human and animal — the series examines how older wilderness traditions may have shaped modern ideas of invisible predators, ritual hunters, and liminal entities that exist at the edge of human understanding.
This isn’t about proving monsters exist.
It’s about asking why the same stories keep appearing across cultures, wars, and generations — and what happens when those stories follow us into modern battlefields.
