So today we're talking with Mark Van Dyke.

He's a U.S astronaut who's about to launch to the International

Space Station for his second long-duration spaceflight. He happened to be one of

the very first guests we had on the podcast back in episode 13 before his first flight, which happened to be

the title of that episode.

So in this discussion, we talked about his background and anticipation of heading to space,

basically continuing the conversation from 2017.

We discuss how his first flight ended up going and what he did aboard.

We discussed his return and what he's been up to here at NASA since landing in the

Kazakh step, and of course what he's looking forward to this time

around and how the landscape of the International Space Station has changed in the few short

years he spent back on the planet.
